The film has witnessed a 53 percent drop from its opening day, which trade experts consider a healthy hold—especially in the current market scenario, where mid-budget films are finding it increasingly difficult to sustain momentum. With its second Friday earnings, Mardaani 3 has collected around Rs 26.75 crore nett in eight days. The film is now expected to show growth over the second weekend and ideally aim for Rs 8.5 crore or more during that period.
For comparison, Mardaani 2 had collected Rs 5.60 crore in its second weekend, despite facing stiff competition from Dabangg 3. In contrast, Mardaani 3 is benefitting from a relatively open release window, as modern theatrical runs tend to be shorter, giving well-received films more breathing space.
