Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in an intimate ceremony at Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. Their wedding pictures are going viral on the internet with netizens praising the newly married couple. Meanwhile, Samantha’s ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya has shared a post on his official Instagram handle, celebrating the second year of their series, titled Dhootha. The actor posted a photo and poster of the show and reflected on the bond he has built with the audience.
In the post he is shown in an intense avatar. Expressing his gratitude to the makers and audience of Dhootha, Naga Chaitanya wrote, “#Dhootha is a show that has proven that if as an actor you make choices based on creativity and honesty and you give it your best shot.. then people will connect. They will get it and give that energy back to you. Thank you! 2 years of Dhootha! Love to the team that made it possible.”
He tagged everyone who put in the efforts to make Dhootha a successful venture. However, as soon as Naga shared the photo, fans showered love in the comments section, but netizens were quick to notice that it was the same day that Samantha and Raj officially got married.
For those unaware, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya dated for a while and got married in 2017, but they announced their separation shortly after and were divorced within a year. Their separation was a shock for the fans. Both of them made it official by posting their statements about the divorce on social media.
Currently, while the Kushi actress is married to Raj, Naga is married for the second time with Shobhita Dhulipala. Interestingly, Samantha’s marriage took place just three days before Naga and Shobhita’s first wedding anniversary. The latter two exchanged vows on December 4, 2024, at the prestigious Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
