Netflix India has partnered with the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) and FICCI to support students in India’s AVGC-XR sector, including animation, visual effects, gaming, comics and extended reality. The MoU was signed in the presence of Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting during the 25th edition of the FICCI frame. The purpose of cooperation is to combine the creative experience of Netflix, the IICT’s industry-focused course, and the Network of FICCI to help nurture talent in India’s creative-technology sector.
Netflix partners with IICT & FICCI gave power to the next wave of India’s creative tech talent
Netflix will work with IICT to help develop its course and provide students with opportunities to learn from industry professionals. The cooperation will include partners with the objective of witnesses, masterclass, and guest lectures either directly or through partners through partners, to improve the learning environment and equip the skills to be successful in the creative industry.
Under this MoU, Netflix will use Netflix funds for creative equity to provide scholarships to selected students selected in collaboration with IICT. The purpose of the fund is to create opportunities to reduce talents in the media and entertainment industry.
To support this partnership, three of the National Councils of Netflix IICT will be included in the R&D Council, Educational Council, and Industry Development Council, which will bring educationists, industry and policy experts together to contribute to the development of India’s AVGC-XR ecosystem.
