Param Sundari, with Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, should hit the screens in a few hours. The romantic drama of comedy, revolving around two individuals from two different states, has so far recorded a decent advanced reservation.
Param Sundari sells 33,000 tickets in the best channels, 7.50 Eyes RS Store Starting
Supported by Maddock Films, Param Sunday sold more than 33,000 tickets in the first three national channels – PVR stainless steel and cinepolis – for the only opening day. About 26,000 admissions of which were recorded at PVR Inox while the latter recorded 7,000 admitted.
This is a reasonable reservation for a film Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. The film generated a fairly good buzz among the public with its promotional assets. Since the public wants good novels these days, Param Sundari can fill the void.
The film has the potential to take a decent start between RS 7 drills at RS 8 crores net, depending on how booking and appointments will be the day of opening. If he manages to receive a positive word of mouth, the romantic comedy will cross a successful theatrical race.
With the arrival of Param Sunday, the outings of the independence day, War 2 and Coolie, should soon be wrapped their theatrical races.
Param Sundari looks more promising than Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor
Param Sundari can bring out joy at the box office, which is very crucial for Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, because the actors have not seen a clean blow for a long time. The film seemed to be much more promising than the few previous outings of the two actors, which is a good sign.
Directed by Tushar Jalota, Param Sunday should target solid growth over the weekend and emerge like another black horse from Maddock after Stone 2 and Chhaava. Although manufacturers are confident in their project, the real test will start tomorrow morning.
Warning: box office figures are compiled from various sources and our research. The figures can be approximate and IHNS makes no complaints on the authenticity of the data. However, they are adequately indicative of performance in the box office of the films in question.
