Priyanka Chopra says the shooting of SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi has been going on for 14 months; six more months left
Describing the project as her return to Indian cinema after many years, Priyanka shared details about the scale and timeline of the production.
“I haven’t done an Indian film in about six or seven years and this film is called Varanasi and it’s directed by SS Rajamouli, who is one of the most amazingly talented directors in India and it’s going to be an adventure film. I’m very excited about it. It will release on April 7, 2027. We shot in the IMAX format. So it will be for IMAX theaters. It’s going to be great,” he said. show.
