Earlier, the makers unveiled the glimpse of Ram, giving audiences the first glimpse of the film’s visual scale and interpretation of the timeless epic. The preview generated significant buzz and increased anticipation for the project. Now with the trailer release date confirmed, the excitement around the film has increased even more.
Planned as a two-part theatrical programme, Ramayana: Part One Seeks to present the revered story on a grand cinematic canvas through large-scale visuals, emotional storytelling and advanced visual effects. The upcoming trailer is expected to offer audiences an in-depth look at the world created by the filmmakers.
Announcing the trailer launch on social media, the makers shared the caption, “From India to the world Ramayana The trailer will have its worldwide premiere on July 24, 2026.”
Inspired by one of the world’s most famous epics, Nitesh Tiwari Ramayana Brings together a star-studded cast. Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi plays the role of Sita, and rocking star Yash plays the role of Ravana. Sunny Deol plays the role of Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey will be seen as Laxman.
Directed by Nitish Tiwari, the film is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with eight-time Oscar-winning VFX studio DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The epic will release in IMAX globally Ramayana: Part One Arriving during Diwali 2026, followed by part two in Diwali 2027.
