Salim Khan’s condition stable after minor brain surgery at Lilavati Hospital; Doctor shared health update!
According to the doctor, as soon as Salim arrived, he was first treated in the casualty ward. During the initial examination, doctors prescribed medication and determined that he needed intensive care monitoring. Later he was shifted to ICU.
The medical team noted that he was suffering from high blood pressure, which was treated immediately. As a precaution, he was put on a ventilator and further examined. The doctor clarified that ventilator support was purely preventive and not an indication of a serious condition.
“We needed to check, and today we did a minor procedure. The procedure was DSA by a neurosurgeon and has been completed successfully. He is fine and stable and has been shifted to the ICU. By tomorrow, he will be taken off the ventilator. He is doing quite well. Age is a factor, we understand,” the doctor said.
Providing more details, the doctor said in Hindi, “He appeared fully conscious and fit when he arrived. There was a slight brain hemorrhage, which we dealt with. No surgery is required.”
