Shahrukh Khan led King is getting bigger and better by the day. Pulling off the biggest casting coup, the Siddharth Anand directed action thriller is being touted to be the biggest action film of Indian cinema. Reliable sources have confirmed that the budget of King Will be around Rs. 350 crores, excluding the amount that Shahrukh and the team had decided to spend for prints, promotions and other ancillary expenses.

,King Started as an action thriller with an extended cameo of SRK, with Sujoy Ghosh as the director. Initial budget Rs. Only 150 crores, but the script had scope to be bigger and better. When Siddharth Anand came into the picture, he sat down and worked with Shahrukh to build the film on a grand scale, designing action sequences on a scale never seen before. SRK is one producer who loves to entertain the audience with spectacular visuals. He gave Sid a free hand and the director came back with a budget of Rs. 350 crores,” a source told IHNS.
Shahrukh dreamed of Sid and was mesmerized by what he had imagined. ,King It is a global film made in India. What takes millions of dollars in the West to implement, Siddharth Anand is aiming to do the same at 1/5 the cost. The film has six extraordinary action sequences, which have been designed to perfection. Three of them have been shot at real locations, while the remaining three will be canned on the sets,” the source told IHNS.
A huge amount has been spent on SRK’s introductory sequence, which is said to be one of its highlights KingDirected by Siddharth Anand and produced by Gauri Khan and Mamta Anand, King Release in 2026.
