Shahrukh Khan’s much awaited action thriller King Reportedly in the final stages of production. According to a report in Mid-Day, the film has completed most of its shooting, with only one international schedule left before the team completes the filming.

The report adds that discussions are currently underway for the final overseas schedule of the film, which is expected to take place in August. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, the production team is said to be scouting locations in the United States and several countries in South America.
A source quoted by the publication said, “There is only one international event left. Nothing has been officially decided yet, but a team is currently in the US, scouting locations and working out the logistics. Before focusing on locations, they will visit a few countries in South America. If everything goes according to plan, the unit will head there next month before calling it quits.”
The King team is looking for a new background
The report further claims that most of the shooting of the film has already been done. The upcoming schedule is expected to include a significant sequence, with directors Siddharth Anand and Shah Rukh Khan reportedly keen to find a location that has not been widely seen on screen.
The source further added, “Shah Rukh and Sidharth wanted an unused location for the sequence.”
The film is scheduled to release in December
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King It is also significant because it is Suhana Khan’s first dramatic performance with her father Shahrukh Khan. The action thriller is currently scheduled to release in theaters on December 24, 2026.
Although the makers have not yet officially announced the details of the final shooting schedule, it is expected that the overseas shooting will be the last phase of the production before the film’s post-production.
