Though she avoided naming any individual, the actress hit out at those who are questioning her intentions and targeting her online. He said, “I was asked – ‘What’s happening, Shilpa Shinde? You were not on social media then, but today you are on social media. I don’t know when people will stop getting publicity in my name. But don’t board a moving train, you will get hurt.’
Shilpa said, “To get publicity, you have your own diseases, people who have died at home. So why do you need Shilpa Shinde? You are already very publicized. Don’t dig up old graves”, she said. The actress addressed those who are revisiting past controversies, insisting that she has spoken out now because she wants to set the record straight. She further added, “If you want to dig into the past, let me remind you that I am alive. Still, I said with proof. I hope God rests his soul – who is no more in this world. I don’t want to do that, but let me tell you that I will give such proof that you will hate that person even if you don’t want to. So don’t tease. Let’s all rest his soul.”
Explaining why she decided to speak publicly on the matter after many years, Shilpa said, “The biggest thing is that you don’t know things. Stop shouting about it. If you had supported me at that time, this situation would not have come to this today. After 9 years, we worked. No one asked me to speak. But I stand up for the father of a girl and husband of a woman. Because I lied. I can’t live with lies in my heart.” “If I had arrested him at that time, I myself would have been arrested today.
