Shooting begins for Hrithik Roshan-backed Storm; Filmmaker Ajitpal Singh aims to wrap February
Sharing details about the progress, a source revealed, “The shooting of Storm is in full swing. Ajitpal Singh serves as the director, writer and producer of the show. It’s pretty much an end-to-end schedule. Ajit is looking to wrap it up by February.” The update indicates a tightly planned shoot, with the makers aiming to complete the series within a stipulated timeline.
Another source highlighted Hrithik Roshan’s close involvement with the project, especially during its development phase. The source shared, “Hrithik and Ajitpal have spent a lot of time exchanging ideas through the scripting and pre-production stage. Hrithik is excited about the script of the show. He loved Ajith’s directorial debut Tubbar (2021). Hence, he knows the filmmaker will bring his unique flavor to this genre, where style, substance and sensibility will unite.”
Storm was officially announced as an upcoming original drama series by Prime Video in October last year. The high-stakes thriller is set in Mumbai and is produced by Hrithik Roshan and Ishaan Roshan under HRX Films, a division of Filmcraft Productions. The show has a strong ensemble cast like Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Srivastava, Rama Sharma, in which Hrithik’s partner Saba Azad is also playing an important role.
