The intrigue
So is taking place on the context of a coastal village in Karnataka. The story explores the life of Ashoka, a young person who develops a crush on a girl in her village. However, due to a series of misunderstandings, it would be possessed by the spirit of Sulochana in the village of Someshwara.
While rumor spreads in the village as a forest fire, several chaotic but comic moments take place, the villagers doing their best to exorcise the minds of him.
Good
Sou de So is a new turn and creative on the genre of horror comedy. He starts hard and keeps his momentum regularly. The scenario is superimposed with poignant moments mixing not only the elements of humor, but also drama, romance and horror in a transparent and effective way.
The film offers a refreshing cinematographic experience with little or no faults, which makes it one of the movies outside the competition of Kannada cinema lately. With pleasant moments, on from SO adapts a narration focused on the characters which leaves a lasting impact on viewers.
The nuances of a simple intrigue enriched by an increasing number of character interactions evoke a feeling of old -fashioned comedy. The colorful characters link the film together, and the writing behind them, which includes net and full -minded dialogues that stand out.
The comedy waterfall shines from the point of view of writing, and JP Thuminad performs it best. His direction stands out from the beginning, but he holds it together, now a coherent comic tone without letting him wobble.
The performances are laudable, several actors doing their best. Coming to the technical aspects, on SO presents a beautiful soundtrack from Sumedh K with an exhilarating background score of Sandeep Thulasidas.
The director of photography of S Chandrasekaran improves the visual narration of the film, while the edition of the film by Nithin Shetty brings him together effectively.
The bad
Su de so has very little gaps in a cinematographic experience. However, the film is dull with its intrigue. Although the simple and sincere moments are the culmination of the film, they can be a disappointment for the public expecting something more in layers and suspense.
Performance
Su De de so has some of the best characters from a recent Kannada film. Although the actors and their performances take out the characters.
While JP Thuminad himself plays the role of Ashok, Shaneel Gautham while Ravi Anna warms her heart with her comic timing and her expressions. While Raj B Shetty makes a special appearance as Guruji, he steals the spectacle with his body language, his dialogue and his humor. In addition, Sandhya Arakere shines with his role as Bhaanu.
The verdict
Sou de SO is a fun and refreshing comedy that persists in your mind after the roll of credits. Balancing romance and drama with horror, it stands out as one of the best companies in Kannada cinema.
With a coherent tone of comedy and a social message, he does not feel as forced or preached, which makes it a perfect watch for this week.
