Varun Dhawan may soon take a big step in his career, with reports suggesting the actor is in talks to debut in Hollywood. Although there is no official confirmation from the actor or his team yet, the buzz about the possible international project has already caught the attention of fans online.

According to a report by discussions regarding the project have been progressing continuously in the last few weeks. The publication quoted a source as saying, “Varun has been offered a Hollywood project, and discussions have been steadily progressing over the past few weeks. He has recently been linked to Lawrence Kasanoff, and both parties are currently in advanced talks. While things are still being finalized, this project could be a significant global step in Varun’s career.”
The report has become even more interesting because Varun had earlier expressed his desire to debut in Hollywood. During an appearance on the podcast Be a Man, Dude! In March this year, the actor opened up about his early ambitions and revealed that acting has always been his dream career.
Sharing details about his plans from his younger days, Varun said, “I enrolled in various acting classes. Actually, my plan was to debut in Hollywood to show my father. I wanted either Steven Spielberg or Anurag Kashyap to launch me. Papa would be shocked by just these two things (my father would be shocked by just these two things). But when Karan launched me, he was shocked too.”
Talking about the work front, Varun was last seen in border 2Which was released earlier this year in January. The actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film. If you are young then you have to fall in love. The romantic entertainer also has lead roles and will hit the theaters on June 5.
