Producer Anand Pandit and filmmaker Vikram Bhatt are gearing up for the release of their upcoming horror film Haunted 3D: Echoes of the PastWhich is going to hit the theaters on June 12, 2026. The film starring Mimoh Chakraborty and Chetna Pandey in the lead roles is already creating curiosity among horror fans with its unconventional promotion strategy.
The makers of Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past will be releasing a mini-sized scare promo called ‘Screamers’.
Instead of releasing a traditional trailer campaign, Vikram Bhatt decided to promote the film through a series of short-form promotional videos titled “Screamers”. These short horror clips will be shared by the director, producer and cast on social media platforms in the days leading up to the release.
Explaining the idea behind the campaign, Vikram Bhatt said, “The youth want to sample things in a short period of time. Reel culture has proven this, and so I am going to do exactly that. I will give people a taste of my film in 15 to 20 seconds of continuous time.”
The film’s first screamer has already been unveiled and it offers audiences a brief but disturbing glimpse into the film’s terrifying world. The producers claim that the film focuses on atmospheric horror rooted in emotional conflict, rather than relying solely on jump scares or spectacle.
According to the team, Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past Explores themes of unrequited love, buried secrets, and supernatural disturbance. The story attempts to blend emotional depth with scares, continuing the style of storytelling that Vikram Bhatt is known for through the films Secret, 1920And haunted 3d.
The producers also said that the film aims to revive intense horror storytelling at a time when the genre is often mixed with comedy or fantasy elements. The project promises horrific scenes, supernatural tension, emotional drama and an advanced 3D cinematic experience designed for dramatic viewing.
The film has a supporting cast including Shruti Prakash, Gaurav Bajpayee and Praneeth Bhatt.
Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the film is produced by Anand Pandit and Rakesh Juneja. The project is co-produced by Roopa Pandit, Dilip Jaiswal, Rahul V Dubey, Manish Bhushan Mishra and Sanjay Singh.
Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past Will be released on 12 June 2026 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
