Sources close to the development reveal that Farah Khan has pitched an exciting double-role concept to Shah Rukh Khan, which has already generated strong interest. The sequel is said to retain the patriotic flavour of the original while blending action, humour, and emotion.
“The film will revolve around a fresh threat to India and will strike a balance between high-octane action and light-hearted comedy. Interestingly, the core story idea has come from Shah Rukh Khan himself,” a source shared.

2. Bhoot Bangla sets new release date
Bhoot Bangla is preparing to meet the fans even more soon! The upcoming comedy horror film has announced that it will now release on April 10, 2026. Earlier, it was revealed that the film will be made available in theaters on May 15, 2026, however the makers have now announced that the project has been pushed forward by more than a month.
Akshay Kumar announced on February 7 that Bhoot Bangla will now release in theaters on April 10, 2026. Taking to his Instagram account, the actor wrote, “Bhoot Bangla Ka Countdown Rewind! 15th May (X) 10th April (Check). 3. Will Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan come together again for a film?
According to a report in Movies Singapore, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are soon set to share the screen in a slice-of-life entertainer. The film reportedly focuses on the story of friendship and is expected to be a light-hearted tale. As of now, these are rumors and have not been officially confirmed by the manufacturers. However, the report also suggests that the promo will be used to introduce the film on OTT platforms.
Apparently, the promo shoot of the film is currently going on on a two-floor set, with one floor designed as a hotel and the other as a mechanic’s workshop. Similar to the Jailer and Jailer 2 promos, the upcoming glimpse is also expected to feature Nelson Dilipkumar and Anirudh Ravichander, and will reportedly be shot by acclaimed filmmaker Rajeev Menon.
4. Ram Charan and Upasana go home with the twins
The Konidela-Kamineni family is getting bigger and happier! As previously reported, Ram Charan and wife Upasana Kamineni welcomed twins on January 31, 2026. The couple is blessed with a baby boy and a baby girl after the birth of their first child, daughter Cline Cara Konidela on June 20, 2023. After Chiranjeevi announced the birth on his social media account, the couple along with their newborns were discharged from the hospital on 5 February.
The star couple, Ram Charan and wife Upasana Konidela, were photographed outside the hospital as they were seen leaving in a black car with tinted windows, giving the family complete privacy. Their tight security comes just days after the actor and his 2-year-old daughter, Clea Cara Konidela, were mobbed by fans outside the hospital as the father took the younger daughter to meet her new siblings.
5. Outer Banks star Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini break up
Hollywood couple Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini have called it quits once again! Both the stars are dating since January 2023. According to US Weekly, just weeks after announcing in a New Year’s post that they were back together, the two decided to split once again. Sources have claimed that the singer has ended her relationship with her boyfriend of 3 years, while he still holds out hopes of getting back together.
The pair, who first linked up when she slid into his DMs, have finally worked things out after two previous breakups didn’t last. “Kelsea and Chase have broken up again. This happened just a few days ago,” the outlet revealed. It is believed that the singer is taking this split better than the previous two. Meanwhile, the Tell Me Your Secrets star is “still not ready to give up” on her relationship.
