Produced by Jio Studios and Manish Malhotra’s Stage5 Productions, this thriller-drama marks the celebrated designer’s digital debut as a producer – seamlessly blending his signature visual finesse with a deeply emotional narrative. This is also ZEE5’s fourth collaboration with Jio Studios, following the successes settle accounts And Mrs., respectively R. Starring Madhavan and Sanya Malhotra, and more recently Bhagwat Which includes Arshad Warsi and Jeetendra Kumar. After premiering at IFFI last year and Chicago South Asian Film Festival this year, sister love Invites the audience into a world where love turns into obsession and buried secrets are slowly revealed. The film centers on Smita (Radhika Apte), a small-town housewife whose seemingly normal life descends into a maze of infidelity, deception and moral ambiguity. What begins as a tale of domestic routine soon turns into a gripping exploration of betrayal, vengeance and the thin, treacherous line between truth and illusion.
