Citadel season 2 has been confirmed with the return of Priyanka Chopra’s Nadia Singh and Richard Madden’s Mason Kane alongside Stanley Tucci’s Bernard Orlick in the action project. The streamer has confirmed that the latest season will consist of seven episodes, all of which will be released exclusively on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. A new trailer was released confirming this.

The trio of Nadia, Mason and Bernard are ready to join together again after a new threat emerges and threatens to dismantle the system behind the chaos and save humanity. While doing this, they are tasked with recruiting new people to the team and have to rely on each other to support them in coming up with the most efficient options. The world’s most powerful families are pulling the strings this time, they have their work cut out for them, because even a global search doesn’t make it any easier.

In addition to the 3 leads, Lesley Manville and Ashley Cummings are said to be returning, with Jack Reynor as Hutch, Matt Berry as Frank Sharp, and Lena El Arbi as Selene making their way into the series. More extras include Merle Dandridge, Gabrielle Lyons and Rena Vallandingham.
David Weil serves as showrunner, director, and executive producer, along with Joe Russo and Greg Yattens, who also serves as director in addition to being executive producer. The show is making a comeback after a hiatus of 3 years, after the first installment released on April 28, 2023. It has also inspired several non-English spin-offs, including an Italian version titled Citadel: Diana and an Indian version titled Citadel: Honey Bunny, starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
