Rumors of Kishan replacing Boman Irani’s iconic character Kishan Khurana started when Irani was absent on the first day of shooting. However, the portal said that Irani will join the filming from January 8, confirming that her character will return in the sequel.
Addressing the speculations directly, Kishan said, “Everyone is there, I am not replacing him. I have a new character.” He stressed his excitement towards the project saying, “The script is amazing. All my fans will get to see me in a very different avatar.”
The current schedule is expected to continue for around 20 days, with the majority of the story reportedly unfolding within a house, reminiscent of the intimate setting of the original film. Shooting has also been planned in and around areas like Noida, Gurugram and Connaught Place, indicating that the sequel will expand its canvas while maintaining ties to the narrative style of the original.
