Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhant Kapoor has been summoned by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Police in the Rs 252 crore MD drugs case. Siddhant has to record his statement at Ghatkopar ANC unit on 25th November.

Along with Siddhant, social media influencer Orhan Avatramani, popularly known as Orri, has also been summoned to appear at the ANC Ghatkopar unit on November 26 to record his statement related to the case. This development indicates an ongoing investigation into a major drug racket.
Siddhant Kapoor’s legal troubles regarding drug abuse are not new. In 2022, he was arrested, but later released on station bail after medical tests confirmed drug use. Bengaluru Police had earlier detained him for consuming drugs at a party in the city.
Meanwhile, Ori’s name was included in an FIR registered by Katra police on March 15, 2025, for consuming alcohol at a hotel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Katra, a prohibited act at that religious place. On the orders of SSP Reasi Paramveer Singh, Jammu and Kashmir Police issued a press statement stressing on strict action against such violations at divine places. Katra police officials were directed to trace those involved and take action against them while maintaining zero tolerance towards drugs and alcohol at religious places.
