The project is described as an “intense love story”, and while talks are progressing with the trio, the makers have not yet finalized a director. The report quotes an insider familiar with the casting logic as saying that the makers are aiming to introduce a refreshing dynamic on screen. “Rohit has a gentle, romantic charm, which is a far cry from the alpha heroes we see on screen today. His popularity has only increased with Mismatched,” the person said, referring to Saraf’s acclaimed romantic drama series on Netflix.
Insider says Nitanshi Goyal and Rasha Thadani have piqued the interest of the audience with their respective Bollywood debuts – Goyal in missing ladies (2024) and in Thadani Azad (2025) – Making an interesting combination for a story centered on young love.
Reports speculate that the makers are looking for a director with a strong approach to character-driven romance, but a name has not been finalized yet. Talks are ongoing, and official confirmation on the timeline, story and creative team is expected once the lead roles are locked.
