Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee have worked together in films like Welcome, Singh is king And Thank youWhich has gone on to achieve a cult status among the movie watching audience. After the break, the pair is set to reunite on an out-and-out comedy with producer Dil Raju. A major portion of the film has already been shot and Anees Bazmee plans to complete the shooting by the end of May.

According to inside sources, the film is doing well. A source said, “Akshay Kumar is very happy with how the situational comedy is shaping up. He is impressed by Anees’s humor, which is magical and continues to be so even today. He has also asked Anees to come up with another film, as he is confident that the ongoing assignment is a winner. Akshay and the entire team are laughing out loud on the set, and so is the crowd. It has been one of the most fun shooting experiences for Anees and Akshay.”
The source also confirmed that the bond between Akshay and his son is one of the major comic highlights. “The film is being geared up for release in December 2026. It is a full-on packaged comedy entertainer with super hit music. The team has already shot a Holi dance number, which will be one of the major attractions upon release. It has been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, and Akshay has nailed the shoot.”
Akshay is currently on a high with Bhoot Bangla. His next film is much awaited welcome to the jungleWhich is going to be released in June.
