The Conjuring: Last Rites, directed by Michael Chaves and with Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson in the main roles, is near his end of theater at the box office. The Hollywood horror film was released on September 5 and started with a record opening. However, the film lost the momentum during the week and continues to show a downward trajectory.
Open with Rs 16.90 crosses, the film finished its opening week at Rs 65.82 crore, including paid previews. Vera Farmiga’s show has also added RS 8.50 crosses to the count of its second weekend.

Distributed by Warner Bros Pictures, the film scored RS 1 crosses on its second Monday, crossing the RS 75 crore brand at the Indian box office. The estimates suggest that the film has remained flat today despite the prices of reduced tickets. He added RS 1 crosses to the count today, bringing the total CUME to Rs 76.32 net at the Indian box office.
Although the film has already emerged as a clear success in India, it would have had much better if it had opened up to a reception of a positive audience. Last Rites should now wrap his theatrical race around Rs 85 net.
