Border 2 director Anurag Singh clarifies on lighting issues, says improvements are ongoing

Addressing the concern, director Anurag Singh explains, “The climax is not meant to be dark. It is set in the evening, but I think because of projection issues, in some cinemas it seems darker. In most theatres, it looks fine.”

Anurag confirmed that corrective measures are already in place. “We have sent a mail to all theaters explaining how to address this issue. Additionally, we are updating the prints in theaters where the climax appears darker than expected.”

The director also talked about the challenges of setting up a large-scale action set. “Action is always difficult to shoot. And in a period war film the action is even more challenging. The trench warfare and tank sequences were particularly demanding. But as I said, I enjoy a good challenge.”
